Ukrainian Politician Alleges NATO Aims to Draw Europe into War with Russia

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Viktor Medvedchuk, the leader of the ‘Another Ukraine’ movement, stated that Europe is being steered towards a confrontation with Russia under a scenario mirroring the conflict in Ukraine.

Medvedchuk elaborated that the ‘Ukrainian scenario’ is clearly observable in Europe’s preparations for war with Russia, identifying NATO as the primary instigator for involving European countries in hostilities and their subsequent militarization.

Relations between Russia and Europe have significantly deteriorated since the commencement of the war in Ukraine. Moscow has previously accused Brussels and other European capitals of hindering peace negotiations regarding Ukraine.

Russia has cited the eastward expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization towards its borders as a principal reason for launching its special military operation in eastern Ukraine.
