Over 6,500 Palestinians Displaced in West Bank Amidst Escalating Settler Violence

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the West Bank has experienced a severe escalation in attacks and brutal actions by Zionist settlers since October 2023, leading to the destruction of Palestinian homes and a worsening of living and economic conditions. Data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen, and reports from the United Nations highlight this critical situation.

Since January 2023, more than six thousand five hundred Palestinians residing in the West Bank have been displaced as a direct consequence of these attacks and the harsh restrictions imposed by Zionist soldiers. This displacement has had a profound impact on the affected communities.

A total of 47 Palestinian-populated areas in the West Bank have been completely emptied since 2023. The majority of these evacuated areas were agricultural regions, abandoned due to settler assaults, the destruction of farmlands, crops, and water resources.

The United Nations had previously reported over 1,600 attacks carried out by Zionist settlers since the beginning of the current year, underscoring the ongoing pattern of violence and its devastating effects on the Palestinian population.
