Israeli Regime Intensifies West Bank Infrastructure Projects to Sever Palestinian Connections

The Israeli regime is accelerating settlement construction in the West Bank, aiming to isolate Palestinian communities by cutting off vital communication routes and expanding its control over strategic territories.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli regime is implementing rapid settlement projects designed to sever communication routes in the West Bank, according to data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing the National Bureau for Defense of Palestine and Resistance Against Settlements. The Israeli regime intends to expand its settlements to seize more land under this pretext, alter Palestinian movement patterns, and further isolate the Palestinian population.

The plan includes severing the communication routes between Ramallah and al-Bireh, along with eight villages north of Ramallah. This strategic move is intended to facilitate settler violence against Palestinians. In the southern West Bank, the Israeli regime is pursuing the construction of a new settlement to geographically link existing occupied settlements towards the cities of Hebron and Jerusalem, extending towards Bethlehem.

This new settlement is positioned along the route of the Israeli settlements of Gush Etzion and Kiryat Arba.
