Israel-UAE Tensions Rise as Dubai Flights to Tel Aviv Canceled Amid Security Dispute

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli security circles have reported that the Israeli internal security service, Shin Bet, announced the cancellation of flights intended to bring stranded Israelis back from Dubai. This development follows an intensification of disagreements between Shin Bet and Emirati officials concerning security inspections at Dubai Airport, with Tel Aviv expressing a lack of trust in the UAE’s security protocols.
The heightened tensions emerge in the wake of a controversial Flydubai incident, marked by ambiguous and contradictory details, involving an Omani co-pilot allegedly attempting to bring down the aircraft carrying 150 Israeli passengers. In response to this event, Flydubai announced the suspension of its flights to the occupied territories for a period of six days.
Israeli airlines had planned to facilitate the return of Israeli nationals stranded in Dubai, but these efforts were reportedly met with opposition from Shin Bet.
