Hamas Condemns Israeli Interior Minister’s ‘Fascist’ Visit to Jerusalem Demolition Site

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas issued a statement declaring that the provocative presence of Israeli Interior Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir at the site of a demolished residential building in the town of Al-Tur in occupied Jerusalem symbolizes the organized terrorism of the occupying regime and its support for extremism and crime in all its forms.
Hamas stated that the increase in demolition operations in occupied Jerusalem, most recently the destruction of a five-story residential building in Al-Tur under Ben-Gvir’s direct supervision, is part of the election propaganda of the Israeli regime’s leaders. These leaders are competing to intensify harassment and suppression of the Palestinian people and encroach upon their land.
The movement held the Israeli regime’s cabinet responsible for this continued repressive and fascist approach, emphasizing that the persistence of this policy will have further consequences on the ground.
Hamas also stressed that all these repressive actions will not be able to break the will of the Palestinian people, who will continue on the path of resistance and liberation.
The movement called on the international community and human rights organizations to intervene immediately to curb the Israeli regime and halt its plans for demolishing homes and displacing Palestinians.
Furthermore, Hamas urged the Palestinian people to activate all means of confrontation and engagement against the escalating crimes of home demolitions in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the occupied territories of 1948, and to strengthen Palestinian steadfastness and resilience.
Hamas announced that the steadfastness of the Palestinian people serves as a strong barrier against the Israeli regime’s schemes targeting the Palestinian people and their land.
