US Secretary of State Rubio: Ukraine’s NATO Membership Not on Agenda
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated in Iceland that Ukraine’s potential membership in NATO is not currently under consideration, emphasizing instead the focus on achieving a resolution to the ongoing conflict.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Tuesday in Iceland, his first stop on a European tour, that the prospect of Ukraine joining NATO is not on the current agenda.
The U.S. Secretary of State further elaborated that the current situation surrounding Ukraine is not moving towards conflict resolution. He stressed that the United States is focused on achieving an end to the Ukraine conflict and is prepared to play a constructive role in this regard.
