US Carrier George Washington Remains Sole American Warship in Middle East

The USS George Washington aircraft carrier is reportedly the last remaining U.S. naval vessel in the Middle East, currently stationed in the Arabian Sea, according to a Fox News report citing Mehr News Agency.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. television network Fox News has reported that the USS George Washington aircraft carrier is now the sole American warship remaining in the Middle East, presently deployed in the Arabian Sea.

The report further states that the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier and the destroyer USS Delbert D. Black have departed the region and are now off the coast of Thailand.

The USS George Washington arrived in the Arabian Sea in August of the previous year.

This year has seen U.S. aircraft carriers undertake their longest naval missions to date. The USS Abraham Lincoln, for instance, experienced severe operational wear and numerous internal issues due to its extended deployment and involvement in aggressive actions against Iran.
