Mostazafan Foundation Launches Year-Long Initiative to Engage Elites in Solving National Economic Challenges

The Mostazafan Foundation, led by Chairman Hossein Dehghan, has initiated a one-year program designed to harness the expertise of universities, students, and national elites to tackle real-world issues within the country’s industries and economic entities. This geographically comprehensive initiative aims to foster scientific synergy and translate innovative ideas into practical products.

According to the Economic Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hossein Dehghan, Chairman of the Mostazafan Foundation, has announced the commencement of a year-long initiative aimed at leveraging the capacities of universities, students, and elites nationwide to address the actual challenges faced by industries and economic organizations. This plan, with extensive geographical priorities, seeks to create scientific synergy and transform ideas into applicable products.

Dehghan emphasized the utilization of academic scientific capacities and national elites in a process that has recently begun. He stated that the primary objective of this program is to provide a platform for scientists, students, and academic activists from all corners of the country to participate in solving the real problems of industries and economic entities.

Highlighting the extensive industrial and economic activities of the Mostazafan Foundation across the country, Dehghan explained that the foundation, possessing a comprehensive overview of existing challenges and potentials, intends to utilize the nation’s scientific capabilities. He described this approach as a significant step toward empowering the scientific community to confront tangible national issues.

A notable feature of this initiative is its inclusive geographical scope. The Chairman of the Mostazafan Foundation clarified that this program is not confined to well-known academic centers but encompasses all scientific capacities, from remote regions to major cities, involving them in the problem-solving process.

He outlined the execution of this plan in two main phases. In the first phase, lasting approximately one year, the actual issues and challenges of industries, whether from the Mostazafan Foundation’s own entities or from governmental organizations, will be received and provided to student teams and scientific associations. In the subsequent phase, team formation will occur based on individuals’ abilities and expertise to facilitate focused efforts on specific problems.

Dehghan also stressed the importance of guiding and supporting the teams, adding that experienced individuals must be present alongside these teams to transform initial ideas into practical products usable in industry. To this end, the Mostazafan Foundation’s companies have been made available to these teams to test and develop their solutions in a real industrial environment.

Beyond resolving existing issues, another objective of this process is to assist in the creation of new businesses. Dehghan expressed hope that the teams’ activities will not be limited to solving the foundation’s problems, but that they will also benefit from the acquired experiences to develop their own businesses and enter the market.

The Chairman of the Mostazafan Foundation asserted that a significant portion of this process should be driven by young people and the private sector, with the main goal being to strengthen the culture of self-organization and problem-solving among the younger generation.

In conclusion, he announced that based on the results of last year’s implementation, approximately 270 ideas and activities have reached a stage where individuals have been able to sign contracts with the foundation’s companies and enter into operational collaborations. This success was attributed to the integration of young people’s scientific capabilities with the real issues of industry and the potential to convert ideas into practical solutions and businesses. Dehghan concluded by expressing gratitude to the participants of the third National Problem-Oriented Competition, ‘Rahy Sho,’ stating that supporting young people is a source of pride for the Mostazafan Foundation and emphasizing the necessity of employing their capabilities and knowledge in solving the country’s problems.
