Russia: No Current Plans for Trilateral Talks with US and Ukraine

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated that there are currently no plans for trilateral meetings involving Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, although President Putin has repeatedly expressed readiness for such negotiations. Ties between Russia and the US concerning Ukraine remain active, with the US role in influencing Kyiv and European nations being clear to Moscow.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia currently has no scheduled trilateral meetings with the United States and Ukraine, as stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov. He noted, however, that Russian President Vladimir Putin has consistently indicated a willingness to engage in such negotiations.

Ryabkov further elaborated that communication channels between Russia and the United States regarding the situation in Ukraine have not ceased. He referenced a meeting on September 23rd between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Marco Rubio, during which the resolution of the Ukraine crisis was a significant topic of discussion.

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister also emphasized that Moscow fully recognizes the pivotal role the United States plays in influencing the decisions of Kyiv and various European countries.
