US State Department Issues Travel Advisory for Citizens in Saudi Arabia Following Airport Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Department of State has alerted its citizens in Saudi Arabia to exercise utmost caution and vigilance following attacks that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The advisory, as reported by Al Mayadeen and published by Mehr News Agency, emphasizes the potential for flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions for Americans in the Kingdom.
The State Department further specified that U.S. government personnel working in Saudi Arabia will require special authorization to use King Khalid International Airport. This warning comes in the wake of a statement from the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, who announced that the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was targeted with two cruise missiles on Thursday evening. Additionally, Najran Airport was struck by one ballistic missile, and the airbase in Khamis Mushait was also targeted with a ballistic missile.
