Amnesty International Criticizes France’s Increased Military Exports to Israel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Amnesty International in France has issued a statement criticizing the escalating French military equipment exports to Israel. The human rights organization cited figures presented by the French Ministry of Defense to parliament this summer, highlighting a contradiction with official statements denying arms sales to Israel and asserting France’s solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Amnesty International argues that Israel’s ability to rely on support from other nations, including France, has contributed to the ongoing perceived genocide in Gaza over the past three years. The organization has urged French officials to cease their complicity with Israel, questioning the continued armament and trade with the Israeli regime despite its alleged impunity.
In a related development, two labor unions, CGT and Solidaires, along with several airport unions in the Seine-Saint-Denis region, jointly announced that a shipment of mechanical parts belonging to an Israeli arms manufacturer was scheduled to depart from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Tel Aviv on flight AF966 of Air France. However, Air France denied any booking for the mentioned cargo, stating that no reservation was made for such goods on their flights, either at the time indicated or at any other time. The airline emphasized that it does not transport weapons or ammunition on its flights to Israel and adheres to international regulations governing the transport of goods.
