Yemen Conflict Claims Hundreds of Victims, Women and Children Form 60% of Casualties

The Ministry of Health in Yemen has reported that Saudi Arabian aggressions since September 3rd have resulted in 259 casualties, with women and children constituting 60% of the victims. These attacks are increasingly targeting civilian and residential areas.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Yemeni Ministry of Health announced that the total number of martyrs and wounded from Saudi Arabian aggressions against the country since September 3rd has reached 259. The ministry further stated that women and children comprise the majority of these casualties, with 91 deaths and 168 injuries attributed to the Saudi attacks. The ministry emphasized that women and children account for 60% of this toll, indicating that the Saudi attacks are being carried out against non-military and residential zones. Additionally, reports indicate that a Yemeni child was martyred in the explosion of a leftover bomb from Saudi Arabian attacks in the Jebel Habashi area of Taiz Governorate. Early this morning, Saudi fighter jets also targeted the Sahar district in Saada Governorate.
