Russia Claims Control of Two Settlements in Ukraine’s Kharkiv Region

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its forces have captured two settlements, Balomaryivka and Kovaliivka, in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region. Citing Sputnik, the ministry stated that units from the Russian army’s ‘North’ group of forces have eliminated Ukrainian forces encircled in the northeastern part of Kharkiv Oblast. The ministry further indicated that efforts are underway to identify and destroy scattered and isolated groups of the Ukrainian armed forces in the area.
