Initial Knesset Election Results Show No Bloc Securing Absolute Majority

Initial results from the Israeli Knesset elections indicate that neither Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc nor Gadi Eisenkot’s bloc has achieved the 61 seats required to form a government, leading to a fragmented parliament.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, initial data from the parliamentary elections in the occupied territories indicates that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc has secured 53 seats in the Knesset, while the opposing bloc led by Gadi Eisenkot has obtained 48 seats.

At the party level, Netanyahu’s Likud party won 26 seats, whereas Eisenkot’s Yashar party captured 21 seats. Meanwhile, Arab parties collectively secured a total of 19 seats in the legislature.

Despite this distribution of seats, neither major coalition has reached the crucial threshold of 61 seats necessary to independently form a cabinet. This political stalemate forces both primary factions to seek alliances with other political streams in order to establish a ruling administration.

The Central Election Committee of the Israeli regime announced that the complete vote-counting process for the Knesset elections is scheduled to conclude by noon today, Tuesday.

The parliamentary elections took place across the occupied Palestinian territories on Tuesday, with polling stations officially closing at 10:00 PM local time.
