Severe Clashes in Hebron Cause Hundreds of Palestinian Families to Flee

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Walla News, an Israeli website, reported that severe clashes have occurred in recent hours between Israelis and Palestinians in the Dura region of the Hebron Governorate in the West Bank. Israeli soldiers and police forces were reportedly dispatched to the area, and access routes leading to it were subsequently closed.
Sources informed Al Jazeera that 300 Palestinian families in the Al-Jal’a area of Hebron are facing forced displacement by the Israeli regime. In a related development, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that a significant surprise awaits the Palestinian Authority following his order for the occupation army to attack the West Bank.
This morning, Yousef Al-Jabri, the mayor of Hebron in the West Bank, announced that Israeli military actions aimed at evacuating the densely populated areas of Al-Jal’a and Dir Baha have resulted in the displacement of hundreds of Palestinian families. Al Jazeera reported that Israeli soldiers have evacuated dozens of homes surrounding the residence of the individual responsible for Friday’s operation against Israelis in Hebron.
Further reports indicate that these occupation soldiers have besieged the city of Hebron and its associated areas and camps. They have also raided the Al-Aroub camp and the Al-Shuyukh area, rearresting several previously released detainees. An Al Jazeera correspondent specified that Israeli soldiers raided at least 15 areas and cities in the northern West Bank, arresting dozens of Palestinians.
Yesterday, it was reported that six Israeli soldiers were injured, two critically, following a shooting incident at a military checkpoint in the Farsh Al-Hawa area of Hebron.
