Permanent deployment of 4 Chinese warships around Taiwan

"Yomiuri" newspaper on Monday quoted several informed sources in the Japanese government and wrote that four warships of the Chinese army have been permanently stationed in the waters around the island of Taiwan.

According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, Japanese sources announced today (Monday) the deployment of four warships of the Chinese army in the waters surrounding Taiwan Island.

Newspaper « Yomiuri, quoting several well-informed sources in the Japanese government, wrote that these Chinese warships, which were transferred to the waters around Taiwan in the 2022 military exercise, have remained there ever since.

The newspaper then published a map showing that Chinese warships are stationed in three axes of Taiwan (north, south and east) and the axis that is towards mainland China is free.

Yomiuri also wrote that one of these ships was stationed west of the Senkaku Islands, which Japan considers its territory.
