American Muslim community: Biden is involved in the Gaza genocide while criticizing Israel

The Council on American-Islamic Relations criticized the duality in the behavior and speech of US President Joe Biden regarding Gaza.

According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which is a civil group in America, criticized in a statement that Joe Biden’s rhetoric is inconsistent with his actions regarding the events in Gaza.

This council clarified in a statement that although the Biden administration has intensified its criticism of Israel’s war in Gaza, these rhetorics have not changed the fundamental policy of American support for Israel.

The group’s statement reads: “At a news conference last night, the president acknowledged that Israel’s military operations in Gaza were ‘excessive’.”

The statement adds: “Although the rhetoric of the Biden administration regarding Gaza has gradually softened over the past few days, the behavior of the administration has not changed.” Gaza is not a genocide, it is intensifying violence, and if the president wants to, he can end this issue with a phone call.” On October 7, he had described it as “excessive”.

He told reporters at the White House: “As you know, my view is that [Israel’s] response in Gaza was excessive.”

These pressures are especially aware of their voter base among Democratic Party supporters.

The results of a new poll in the United States that was conducted some time ago showed that the war in Gaza may be in the American elections. leave a more negative impact on Joe Biden’s ballot box than his main potential rival, “Donald Trump.” It showed that 51% of Biden voters in 2020 considered Israel’s actions to be genocide, while this figure was only 12% for Trump voters.

Also, 20% of those who voted for Biden Those polled say Israel’s actions are not an example of genocide, while this figure for Trump voters is 67 percent.
