Jake Sullivan, the national security adviser of the White House, also claimed that “in response to the continuous threats and attacks in the Red Sea, the United States designated Yemen’s Ansarullah, also known as the Houthis, as a special global terrorist.” If Ansarallah stops its attacks in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, America will immediately reevaluate this designation.
