According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, for the first time Since the establishment of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, 16 tons of commercial goods from the United Arab Emirates have arrived at Balkh airport in the north of this country.
This is the first commercial flight between Afghanistan. and the UAE, which was carried out after the new government took office in Kabul through the “Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi” airport in northern Afghanistan.
Fly company Sky has made the first commercial flight to Balkh in northern Afghanistan. It was necessary to carry out such an air carrier for the transfer of commercial goods of the two countries.
The Balkh Chamber of Commerce and Investment also welcomed the creation of this air corridor and emphasized that such measures will bring prosperity and Afghanistan’s trade relations will expand. “Abdul Salam Akhundzadeh Javad”, the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Taliban, previously said that Afghanistan currently has trade relations with more than 70 countries in the world. and efforts are underway to expand it as much as possible.
He noted that last year, Afghanistan had exports worth more than 2 billion dollars for the first time.
