French Foreign Minister Stephane Sjourn said on Friday that France does not intend to send its troops to Ukraine.

The French Foreign Minister said in an interview with the France Inter radio channel: “The French will not die for Ukraine.” We do not send troops (to Ukraine).

French President Emmanuel Macron announced on February 26 that the representatives of about 20 Western countries They discussed more support for Ukraine in the conflict with Russia, and the issue of the possible deployment of Western ground forces to Ukraine was raised. According to him, the participants did not reach a consensus on this issue, however, such a scenario cannot be ruled out in the future. After these statements, the representatives of most Western countries announced that they do not intend to send troops to Ukraine.
