United Nations: The presence of women in the Afghan government is a condition for interaction with the Taliban

According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, after According to the report of “Feridon Sinirlioglu”, the special coordinator of the United Nations for Afghanistan, the Security Council of this organization emphasized: it is not possible to entrust Afghanistan’s representative seat to the United Nations and other global interactions with the Taliban without the presence of Afghan women in the government of this country.
According to the statement of the UN Security Council: Any formal reintegration of Afghanistan into international institutions and systems requires the participation of Afghan women.
Before this, the UN Security Council asked Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of this organization, to provide an independent assessment of the current situation in Afghanistan.
This assessment was presented to the Security Council on November 26 this year by Feridon Sinirlioglu, the UN Special Coordinator for Afghanistan.
After the evaluation of the Security Council, the United Nations proposed to appoint a special representative of this body for Afghanistan affairs, but the Taliban strongly rejected it.
The handover of Afghanistan’s representative seat in the United Nations is one of the serious demands of the Taliban from the international community.
