UN warning about the danger of conflict between Israel and Lebanon

The United Nations warned on Wednesday that there was a “real risk” of escalation between Israel and Lebanon.

The conflict between the Israeli army and the Lebanese Hezbollah militant group has intensified since the start of the conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip on October 7.

The United Nations called the situation “alarming” and said there was no military solution to the crisis on the Israel-Lebanon border.

The organization called for a permanent ceasefire on both sides of the Blue Line, the disputed border line defined by the United Nations, which separates the two countries.
