The perspective of the development of relations centered on the negotiations between the officials of Turkmenistan and Japan

According to the Fars news agency reporter, in Dushanbe, Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Mordaf had an online conversation with Hiroyuki Tsubai, the head of the Japanese department of the economic cooperation committee between this country and Japan.

In this meeting, the parties exchanged views on the main issues of current cooperation and the prospects for the development of relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.

Mordaf emphasized stability and economic partnership The long-term relationship between the two countries pointed to the important role of the Economic Cooperation Committee between Turkmenistan and Japan in expanding relations in commercial and economic fields.

Progress in the implementation of the agreements reached in the previous meeting of the Economic Cooperation Committee of Turkmenistan And Japan in December last year in Tokyo was one of the other topics discussed in this virtual meeting.

The two sides emphasized the importance of updating the roadmap for cooperation in the field of infrastructure signed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.

In addition, during these talks, the parties focused on further development of relations in the fields of energy, gas, oil refining, transportation and communication, as well as environmental issues.
