Benny Gantz’s request to hold the Zionist elections in September

A member of the Israeli war cabinet called for Knesset elections to be held in September.

The 7th October attack of the Hamas movement on the occupied territories and the failure of the Zionist intelligence hammered the last nail on the coffin of the political future of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime. Netanyahu, who was also under pressure for his extremist policies before the Gaza war, now suffers from the lowest level of acceptance among voters. As a result, the upcoming elections will be the scene of Likud’s defeat.

According to Al Jazeera, Benny Gantz, one of the members of the Zionist regime’s war cabinet, today (Wednesday) for the first time called for the holding of future elections in the occupied territories.

On this basis, Gantz, who was previously the chief of the joint staff of the Zionist regime army, said in a television interview: I want to hold national elections in September. We have to agree on the election date in September.

He pointed out: Setting the election date gives us the possibility to continue the war in Gaza and at the same time give the message to the Israeli citizens that we will regain their trust soon.

Gantz is considered the main option to replace Netanyahu in the upcoming elections.

The political system in the Zionist regime is a parliamentary system in which parties compete for 120 Knesset seats. Any party that can win 61 seats will form the next government. However, due to the inability of the parties to reach this quorum, several parties that won the most seats form a coalition government.
