resistance; From the liberation of southern Lebanon to the evacuation of northern occupied Palestine
24 years after the liberation of southern Lebanon, the strength of the resistance in the battlefields has led to the fact that many years after the occupation of these areas, now the Zionists are in a defensive position against the fighters of the Lebanese Islamic resistance and are forced to evacuate the border areas in the north of occupied Palestine. |
According to the international group Tasnim News, 24 years ago on May 25, 2000 (5 June 1379) After 18 years, the Zionist regime retreated from 98% of the occupied areas of southern Lebanon and suffered a major defeat. Palestine (which at that time was still considered the most important force of Palestinian resistance against Israel) was included in its agenda. With the withdrawal of this organization’s forces from Jordan and moving to Tunisia and Lebanon, the Israeli army tried to create a security belt to prevent Palestinian forces from infiltrating the north of the occupied territories. The 1970s made the Zionists launch a massive attack on southern Lebanon.
A massive attack by Israeli forces on southern Lebanon began in June 1982. Among the military and security agencies of the Zionist regime, Mossad played the main role in the finalization of the extensive military operation against Lebanon; Mossad agents who had a good relationship with parts of the Lebanese Maronite body, and this became the basis for the Israeli army to march to this country to expel the Palestine Liberation Organization and Syrians from southern Lebanon. It indicated that in response to an attack by the Zionist army, Lebanese Christians will take a favorable position, Sunni Muslims will remain neutral, and Shiites will maintain their previous passive and non-political position. Basically, a part of the transformed Maronite society at this point had a negative view of the Lebanese Shiites and saw them as lacking the strategic ability to create active groups and organizations against the invaders.
From the Amal movement to Hezbollah
Of the totality of the incomplete and wrong picture that the elements affiliated with Israel conveyed to the Mossad, only the first part of it is the alignment of this group It was close to reality with Tel Aviv. With the formation of the army of South Lebanon under the command of Saad Haddad (1977-1984) and then Antoine Lahad (1984-2000), they tried to provide significant assistance to the invaders. But the nationalist forces started to confront the Israeli forces. On the other hand, the Sunni Muslims were also against the invaders.
But the most strategic part was the objection of the Maronites’ analysis about the Shiites. Contrary to their perceptions, the Israeli occupation was effective in reorganizing the Amal movement in 1982. Also, as a result of the presence of the occupiers and their accomplices Maronites, new groups of Shiites also formed a new core, which finally led to the establishment of Hezbollah in Lebanon three years after the beginning of the occupation in 1985 (1363).
In fact, Israel, with its occupying presence in Lebanon, became the basis for the formation of the most important Islamic resistance group in all Islamic countries.
With the formation of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, the conflict between the two sides took a fundamental turn. The forces of Hezbollah inflicted extremely painful blows on the body of the Israeli forces and the army of Antoine Lahad. It had an effect. Finally, Ehud Barak, the leader of the “One Israel” coalition, challenged Benjamin Netanyahu in 1999 and came to power with the promise of withdrawing from southern Lebanon. Barak finally unilaterally withdrew from southern Lebanon in 2000. did The withdrawal of the Zionists from southern Lebanon, on the one hand, meant the victory of the Islamic resistance against Israel, and on the other hand, it was accompanied by the stabilization of the resistance in the political sphere of Lebanon. It led to massive killing and widespread destruction in southern Lebanon, but it caused new Shiite organizations to form in this country and consolidate their power. In this way, the equation of deterrence between Israel and the enemies of this fake regime changed forever and caused the period of immunity of the Zionists to end. And the stabilization managed to defeat the Zionist regime once again in the 2006 war. The second biggest defeat of the Zionists against Hezbollah in this war made Hezbollah gain a more privileged position in Lebanon and find supporters among all Lebanese groups, including Sunni Muslims. After the establishment of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Islamic resistance of Lebanon began to exchange fire with Israel the day after the war in Gaza began, and has made the northern strip of Israel’s borders insecure for more than 233 days. As a result of this situation, about 70,000 Israelis have been away from their settlements for months, and the northern strip of the occupied territories has been taken out of the hands of the Zionists.
Maybe if Hezbollah was not in the current situation, with measures Less than this, Israel would have been forced to launch a massive attack against Lebanon much earlier, but the strength of the resistance in the battlefields has caused the Zionists to be in a defensive position against the Islamic resistance fighters of Lebanon for years after occupying the southern territories of Lebanon. and have to evacuate the border areas in the north of the occupied territories.
