I would like to represent the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran and on my behalf the honorable President of the United Nations General Assembly, the honorable Secretary General of the United Nations and all I would like to express my deep gratitude to those present for holding this meeting to pay respect and honor the memory of the late President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and the late Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hossein Amirabdollahian. Their tragic passing was a great loss for our nation and those who knew them.

Also, from all those who gave speeches this morning, especially on behalf of regional groups, I appreciate their kind words and sincere condolences to the government and people of Iran, as well as the family of our late president and foreign minister.

The late president and minister were visionary leaders who The term of their presidency and ministry was dedicated to promoting peace, stability and sustainable security in the region and beyond. The principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect and commitment to international law, the United Nations Charter and multilateralism were the cornerstones of their foreign policy.
