US Issues Security Alerts for Citizens in Middle East Following Iran Incursion

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Department of State, following what it described as an illegal incursion into Iranian territory that contravened international norms and the UN Charter, issued a statement on Tuesday warning Americans in the Middle East (West Asia) to exercise utmost caution and be prepared for potential flight cancellations and airspace closures.
Concurrently, U.S. embassies in occupied Palestinian territories, Qatar, Jordan, and Bahrain issued security advisories for American citizens. These embassies noted the ongoing tensions in West Asia, stating that the security situation in the region remains complex and could escalate.
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) claimed in a social media post on X this Tuesday that U.S. forces commenced attacks on Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targets in Iran at 12:00 PM Eastern Time.
