According to the regional office Tasnim news agency, Ministry of Foreign Affairs The Taliban government announced that according to the order of the Taliban leader, “Zabihullah Mujahid”, the spokesman of the ruling body of Afghanistan, will head the country’s delegation to the third meeting in Doha.
Based on this announcement, the Taliban delegation is going to discuss Afghanistan’s financial and banking system, the challenges of the private sector and the Taliban’s actions on drugs in the upcoming meeting in Doha. The foreign minister of the Taliban government held a coordination meeting yesterday (Tuesday, July 5) to participate in the upcoming Doha meeting.
In addition to Mujahid, Noor Ahmed Agha, deputy of the Central Bank of Afghanistan, Abdul Haq Al-Asar, deputy of counter-narcotics in the Ministry of Interior, and advisors of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Taliban were present.
According to the statement The United Nations is going to hold the third bilateral meeting on Afghanistan with the presence of various Afghan groups on June 30 and July 1 (July 10 and 11).
