Israel Escalates Attacks in Southern Lebanon with Shelling and Bombings
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli forces have continued their artillery shelling and destructive bombings in southern Lebanon, according to reports from Al-Manar television and the official Lebanese News Agency.
A military reporter for Al-Manar announced an explosion carried out by Israeli soldiers in the area between the towns of Aitaroun and Braitait in southern Lebanon. The official Lebanese News Agency also reported a large explosion by the Israeli army in the southern city of Tyre, leading to the destruction of citizens’ homes in the Marjayoun region. Additionally, Israeli army artillery shelled the Al-Khardali road in the south.
Lebanese sources reported a powerful explosion conducted by Israeli soldiers in the town of Beit Al-Siyad in southern Lebanon. Israeli bulldozers were also observed in the town of Houla in Marjayoun, southern Lebanon, engaged in the demolition of several buildings. The occupying army’s artillery shelled Doueih Kafarman and the vicinity of Tel Al-Dabsha in Nabatieh.
In the town of Bani Hayyan in Marjayoun, southern Lebanon, the Israeli army carried out artillery attacks alongside demolition and destruction. The Wadi Al-Salouqi area in southern Lebanon was also shelled by the occupying army’s artillery. In Bint Jbeil, the occupying army conducted two major explosions. The town of Al-Mansouri was also targeted by artillery attacks from the occupying army.
Concurrently, an Israeli drone flew over the Dahiyeh area of Beirut. The Israeli army set fire to homes in the town of Beit Al-Siyad in southern Lebanon and carried out an explosion in the town of Majdal Zoun. News sources indicated that on Wednesday morning, the Israeli army destroyed at least six residential buildings and a newly constructed school in southern Lebanon using bulldozers and explosives.
