Death of 4 children in Sudan due to malnutrition
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Sputnik, “Hoveda Abdullah” from the officials of the Ministry of Health of Sudan in South Darfur, reported the death of four children in the “Teles” neighborhood due to malnutrition and added that These children died last week.
A Sudanese official said that government departments have been completely deprived of the food aid needed to treat malnourished children for a month.
He stated that eight children in El Dorom region were severely malnourished and were transferred to a clinic in Nyala. He held the institutions affiliated to the United Nations responsible for the death of these children and said: This happened because of the failure of the World Health Organization, UNICEF and the World Food Program.
In this regard, the General Department of War Refugee Affairs of Sudan announced that the number of malnourished children in the “Kalme” camp has reached 6 and the situation This camp is extremely critical due to lack of food.
