The “THAD” system was deployed in Israel
reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Yediot Aharonot, US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin says that the advanced THAAD anti-missile system, which Washington previously agreed to transfer to the occupied territories, is now deployed and ready.
Before entering Ukraine, Austin said in a conversation with reporters without mentioning whether this system has been operational: “THAD” system has been deployed. We are able to launch it very soon and we are moving along with our expectations.
Joe Biden, the president of the United States of America, said earlier that this system will be transferred to the occupied territories along with about a hundred troops for the purpose of what is called the defense of Israel.
The US President claimed last week that he knows the time and manner of the Zionist regime’s retaliatory attack against Iran in response to the “Sadegh 2” operation.
Austin claimed about this issue: It is difficult to say exactly what the (Israeli) attack will look like. Ultimately, the decision rests with the Israelis. Whether the Israelis believe that this (possible attack) is proportionate and what the Iranians perceive it to be, may be two different issues.
He claimed: We intend to do everything we can to moderate the tensions and we hope to push the parties towards the beginning of de-escalation. We have to see what will happen.
Austin’s and Biden’s statements were raised while Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, earlier in a conversation with the Turkish channel NTV about the possibility of an Israeli attack against Iran, pointing out that “the bank The goals are clear,” he emphasized that “any attack against Iran means crossing a red line for us. We will not leave such an attack unanswered. A necessary response will be given to any attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities or any similar attack. Israel will receive a proportionate response to any attack against Iran.”
