New Figures on Palestinian Martyrs in Gaza Amid Global Community’s Suspicious Silence
Teh Gaza ministry of Health, while presenting updated statistics on the victims of the Zionist regime’s attacks on Gaza, stated that the crimes of the Zionists continue under the suspicious silence of international institutions.
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Palestinian Shahab News Agency, Medhat Abbas, Director-General of the Gaza Ministry of Health, told Al Jazeera that Zionist occupiers are deliberately targeting Palestinian children and refugee tents directly.
He emphasized that due to the Zionists’ use of unconventional weapons, burn injuries among victims are far more severe than anticipated.
According to this medical source, Zionist occupiers have destroyed many hospitals and rendered them non-operational.
Abbas noted that many children in Gaza have lost their lives due to malnutrition…have lost their lives, while international organizations have maintained a suspicious silence regarding the events unfolding in Gaza.
The Gaza Ministry of Health, in it’s daily report on the martyrs and wounded from the Zionist regime’s aggression against Gaza, announced that within the past 24 hours, the bodies of 39 martyrs were brought to hospitals in Gaza, two of whom were previously identified as martyrs. During this period, 62 injured individuals were also transported to hospitals.
The statement emphasized that a large number of victims remain trapped under rubble and along transportation routes, with rescue workers and civil defense forces unable to reach them.
The report further states that as an inevitable result, the total number of martyrs from the Zionist regime’s aggression against Gaza as October 2023 has now reached 51,240, with 116,931 injured.According to the report, the number of martyrs and wounded since march 18, 2025—when the second round of attacks by the Zionist regime on Gaza began—has reached 1,864 martyrs and 4,890 injured.
