According ⁣to the english section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News⁤ Agency⁤ and TV BRICS, Vladimir Kazbekov, Deputy ⁣Head ​of ‌the new Development⁤ Bank (NDB), traveled to Dhaka,​ the capital of ​Bangladesh, with the aim of expanding bilateral cooperation. ​

During his visit, ‌Kazbekov met ⁣with⁢ Muhammad Yunus, Senior Advisor and Head of Bangladesh’s Interim Government. The two sides discussed various areas of collaboration and potential frameworks for financial participation.

Yunus welcomed⁤ NDB’s growing role in Bangladesh and emphasized the ⁣importance‍ of ​international financial support‌ for the country’s ⁣development path. ​

Kazbekov reiterated NDB’s readiness to invest in infrastructure projects ‌and enduring​ development initiatives in Bangladesh. He stated⁢ that these projects would include​ clean‍ energy, transportation,⁢ water supply,​ and digital infrastructure.

The New Development Bank has announced that‌ it is indeed currently reviewing financing for projects aligned with both the United⁢ Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Bangladesh’s⁣ national priorities.
