Axios Reports Upcoming Phone Call Between U.S. President and Israeli PM on gaza Ceasefire, Prisoner Swap Deal, and Nuclear Talks with Iran
The English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, reported that Barak Ravid, a journalist for the Axios website, stated in a post on the social media platform X today (Monday) that according to two informed sources, President Trump is scheduled to speak with Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime Minister of Israel (regime), today to discuss a Gaza ceasefire, a prisoner swap deal (Zionist prisoners held by Hamas), and nuclear negotiations with Iran.
The Axios journalist added that this phone call is set to take place amid stalled negotiations over the prisoner swap agreement after another effort by the U.S. and Egypt last week to reach an acceptable proposal for a deal failed.
barak Ravid further noted that this planned call will occur two days after the second round of nuclear talks between Iran and the U.S. in Rome regarding a potential agreement.
