Head of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Sworn In

According to the English section of‌ the webangah News Agency, citing⁤ Mehr News ‍Agency, Reuters reported that Paul Atkins has ‍been sworn in as​ the head of the U.S. securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The report states that Atkins, who ​previously⁣ served as an SEC commissioner from 2002 to 2008⁢ and was known‍ as ⁤a pro-business lawyer, took his⁢ oath as chairman of the commission on Monday.

Atkins was⁢ sworn​ in​ today as the 34th chairman ⁢of the SEC after being nominated by Donald Trump ‌and confirmed by‍ the Senate.‌ ‍
