Morocco Building Collapse: 22 Dead in Fez

The collapse of two buildings in the historic city of Fez, Morocco, has resulted in the deaths of at least 22 people, with another 16 injured.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, two buildings collapsed in the historic city of Fez, Morocco, resulting in 22 deaths and 16 injuries.

Local Moroccan media reported that children were among the victims of the collapse, which occurred on Wednesday and involved two four-story buildings.

The state news agency of Morocco indicated that the buildings were located in the Al-Mustaqbal neighborhood and housed eight families.

Images circulating on social media show police and civil defense forces at the scene. The cause of the collapse is currently under investigation.
