IAEA Chief: Russia Can Help Resolve Iran Nuclear Issue
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated on Monday that Russia could play a crucial role in resolving the situation surrounding Iran’s nuclear program. He highlighted discussions with President Vladimir Putin and other Russian officials regarding the matter.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said in an interview with Sputnik on Monday that Russia can play a very important role in helping to resolve the situation surrounding Iran’s nuclear program.
“A very important issue. Something I was proud to talk about with President [Russia] Putin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and [Alexey] Likhachev (CEO of the Russian state nuclear company) and people from the Ministry of Defense,” the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency said.
This is while Rafael Grossi has so far refused to condemn America’s aggression against Iranian territory, even in the midst of indirect consultations between Tehran and Washington.
