Hamas Condemns Gaza Aid Restrictions, Urges US Intervention

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas has reacted strongly to a statement by the United Nations and over 200 international aid organizations, emphasizing that obstacles imposed by the Israeli regime are severely hindering humanitarian operations in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Hamas asserts that the UN’s warning about the potential cancellation of registration for dozens of international aid organizations by the Zionist regime necessitates immediate and serious action from the global community. This action should compel the occupiers to cease their criminal policies and mobilize all capacities to provide relief to the Palestinian people amidst the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe.
Hamas maintains that the criminal Zionist regime, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, is systematically deepening the suffering of the Gazan people by intensifying the siege, instrumentalizing humanitarian aid, and depriving civilians of their most basic rights. These actions, they claim, represent a continuation of genocide against Gaza in various forms.
The statement continues by noting that these policies constitute a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States, an agreement that has already been marred by hundreds of field violations. These violations have led to the martyrdom of hundreds of Palestinians due to direct military attacks or disruptions to the aid and housing of displaced persons.
Hamas concludes by urging the U.S. government and the mediators guaranteeing the ceasefire to intervene immediately, ensuring the full implementation of the agreement and preventing further violations by the Zionist regime. They call for the regime to be obligated to fulfill its humanitarian and aid commitments, including facilitating the activities of international aid organizations.
Earlier, the United Nations, along with 200 international humanitarian institutions, warned of the Israeli regime’s restrictions preventing humanitarian aid from reaching the Gaza Strip.
Hazem Qassem, the spokesman for Hamas, stated that the continued deaths of children in the Gaza Strip due to severe cold, including the recent incident in Khan Yunis, constitute a clear crime resulting from the ongoing blockade. He said it prevents the occupying regime from rebuilding and providing adequate shelter following the genocide in Gaza.
He added that the presence of displaced persons, especially children, in tents without proper housing facilities and heating is a primary cause of these human tragedies. Despite all the calls for the entry of temporary housing and the start of reconstruction, the international community has not taken serious action to save the children of Gaza.
Qassem pointed out that Gazan children previously died under Zionist bombardment and are now falling victim to the cold. He called for immediate and real action by the international community to prevent the escalation of the crisis and the occurrence of mass deaths.
He also urged the U.S. government and President Donald Trump to pressure the Zionist regime to adhere to the ceasefire commitments, allow the entry of humanitarian aid, provide real housing, and reopen the crossings.
