Zelensky Holds Talks with Trump Allies on New Ukraine Peace Proposals

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed details of a one-hour discussion with Steve Witkopf, Donald Trump’s special envoy, and Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law. The talks reportedly explored new ideas aimed at achieving a sustainable peace in Ukraine.
Zelensky emphasized that the negotiations focused on practical solutions to end the war and establish conditions for lasting stability. He warned that international pressure on Russia must continue to deter Moscow from prolonging the conflict, which he said would have severe consequences for Russia.
The Ukrainian leader also cautioned against allowing the war to become a tool for undermining regional and global security. With signs of strategic fatigue emerging among Kyiv’s Western supporters, Ukrainian officials are actively pursuing alternative diplomatic channels, including engagement with influential figures in U.S. foreign policy circles.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian media have reported on a 20-point ceasefire proposal drafted by Zelensky, which notably excludes any territorial concessions to Russia or abandonment of NATO aspirations.
