Israeli Parliament Approves Cutting Utilities to UN Refugee Agency Offices

The Israeli Knesset has passed a final bill to cut water and electricity supplies to the offices of the UN’s Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA), amid heightened humanitarian needs in Gaza.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli Knesset has approved a final bill authorizing the cutoff of water and electricity to the offices of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). The majority of Knesset members voted in favor of the controversial measure.
The decision comes as Palestinians in the Gaza Strip face severe humanitarian challenges following two years of conflict, with UNRWA services being more critical than ever. Israeli authorities claim the agency serves as an operational branch of Hamas, allegations that UNRWA has consistently denied.
