Kremlin Refuses to Disclose Putin’s Residence Location Following Ukrainian Drone Attack

The Kremlin has declined to reveal President Vladimir Putin’s current residence after Ukraine’s alleged drone attack on his official compound, with Russian officials vowing retaliation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Kremlin has refused to disclose the location of President Vladimir Putin’s residence following Ukraine’s reported drone attack on his official compound. Dmitry Peskov, the Russian presidential spokesman, stated that discussing Putin’s whereabouts cannot be a subject of public dialogue given the current circumstances and Kyiv’s alleged aggression.

During a press briefing, Peskov emphasized, “The residence of the Russian president is not a topic for discussion under present conditions.” This comes after Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov revealed that Ukraine allegedly launched a terrorist attack using 91 drones against Putin’s state residence in the Novgorod region on December 29.

Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned that Ukraine’s targeting of Putin’s residence would be met with retaliation. The attack occurred amid heightened hopes for peace in Ukraine following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday.

European countries, particularly the UK, have emerged as staunch opponents of Ukrainian peace efforts, with some Russian officials accusing London of involvement in the attack on Putin’s residence.
