According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the internal security command in Latakia has declared a curfew in the city, effective from 5 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, until 6 AM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The decision excludes emergency services, medical personnel, ambulances, and firefighting teams.
The security command urged citizens to cooperate with authorities, warning that violators would face legal consequences. The move comes after days of widespread protests in Syria‘s coastal cities, including Latakia, which saw clashes between demonstrators and security forces.
