According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Iraqi Parliament has commenced a session to elect its second deputy speaker. The meeting, chaired by senior member Amer al-Fayez, aims to finalize the position after the recent appointments of Mohammed al-Halbousi as speaker and Adnan al-Fayhan as first deputy. Yesterday’s session saw the confirmation of al-Halbousi and al-Fayhan, but the selection of the second deputy remained unresolved.
