Belarus President Lukashenko Condemns Drone Attack on Putin’s Residence as State Terrorism

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has described the drone attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence in Novgorod as a clear example of state-sponsored terrorism. Lukashenko stated, ‘The attack on Putin’s residence in Novgorod is terrorism at the highest level.’
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov previously reported that Ukraine launched 91 drones in an attack on Putin’s official residence in the Novgorod region on December 29. Lavrov reiterated these claims on Monday, calling the assault a terrorist act.
Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned that Ukraine’s targeting of Putin’s residence would not go unanswered. The attack occurred amid heightened hopes for peace in Ukraine following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.
European nations, particularly the UK, have been vocal opponents of peace efforts in Ukraine. Some Russian officials have even accused London of involvement in the attack on Putin’s residence.
