Turkey’s Defense Ministry Accuses Israel of Destabilizing the Region
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkey‘s Defense Ministry has issued a statement accusing Israel of being a destabilizing force in the region for over two years. The ministry expressed hope that the coming year would see the Palestinian people achieve their right to a dignified life.
The statement highlighted Israel’s activities in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria, Lebanon, and other parts of West Asia, emphasizing that the international community has failed to halt its brutal and inhumane actions against Palestinians. Turkey also criticized Tel Aviv’s continued rhetoric against regional nations, noting that global efforts have been insufficient in countering Israeli threats.
Additionally, the ministry reaffirmed its support for Syria’s territorial integrity, condemning the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) for undermining national unity by advocating decentralization and federalism. Turkey reiterated its close cooperation with Damascus under the principle of ‘one country, one army’ and pledged support for any Syrian initiative to strengthen territorial unity.
