Ukrainian Drones Target Putin’s Residence Launched from Sumy and Chernihiv

Russian air defense forces reported intercepting Ukrainian drones targeting President Putin’s residence, with the attack originating from Sumy and Chernihiv regions. No casualties or damage were reported.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian air defense missile units detected evidence of an aerial attack on President Vladimir Putin’s residence at approximately 19:20 Moscow time on December 28. The drones, launched from Ukraine’s Sumy and Chernihiv regions, were part of a coordinated multi-axis assault attempt.

Alexander Romanenkov, commander of Russia’s Aerospace Forces missile defense units, stated that Kyiv’s operation was precisely planned. Following the interception, no casualties or infrastructure damage occurred on Russian soil.

Romanenkov emphasized the effective coordination between air defense and electronic warfare teams in neutralizing the threat.
