Russia Reaffirms Readiness to Mediate Between Iran and the United States

Russia has reiterated its offer to mediate between Iran and the U.S., with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stating that Moscow’s proposal remains valid, while influential regional players in the Persian Gulf have also extended mediation offers.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia has reaffirmed its readiness to mediate between Iran and the United States, with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov confirming that Moscow’s proposal remains on the table. Ryabkov noted that influential regional actors in the Persian Gulf have also offered to facilitate dialogue between Tehran and Washington, sending messages to both sides.

The Russian diplomat emphasized that Moscow maintains its practical readiness to help alleviate concerns and prevent potential conflicts between the two nations. Ryabkov also criticized the U.S. approach to Iran’s nuclear program and the White House’s stance in negotiations.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has consistently expressed willingness to negotiate with the U.S. to resolve disputes but has affirmed it will not compromise the rights of the Iranian people in any talks.
