According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, recent reports from Rystad Energy indicate that the daily supply of over 12 million barrels of oil and gas from the West Asia region has been stopped in the Strait of Hormuz. This figure includes 7 million barrels of crude oil per day, equivalent to approximately 7 percent of global oil demand.
The institute’s analysts have warned of potential further production cuts, deeming the situation a serious alarm for global energy security. Experts and analysts have cautioned about an impending energy crisis stemming from the sustained conflict against Iran following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
The Wall Street Journal reported that senior executives of American oil companies have warned that the energy crisis will intensify if the terrorist war by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran continues. Executives from prominent oil companies, including ExxonMobil, Chevron, and ConocoPhillips, have cautioned Washington officials in meetings that the ongoing conflict against Iran will exacerbate disruptions to energy transportation through the Strait of Hormuz, worsen energy instability in the region and globally, and accelerate the rise in oil prices.

Israeli media reported the declaration of an emergency at Ben Gurion Airport amidst the presence of two military aircraft in the skies over Tel Aviv. Some media outlets are reporting a technical malfunction or damage to an American refueling aircraft over Iraq, with efforts underway to land it in Tel Aviv.
Local sources are reporting intense drone attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, with explosions heard in the Green Zone.
