Turkey Blames Israel for Regional Crisis, Calls for International Action

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated on Thursday that Israel is responsible for the war that has plunged the region into an unprecedented crisis. He emphasized that Israel should not be allowed to cover up its crimes and that its expansionist and occupation policies should not be legitimized under the guise of regional conflicts.
Fidan asserted that Turkey rejects actions targeting the region’s geography and believes Israel’s attempts to whitewash its atrocities and aggressive expansionist agenda must not be permitted to be masked by the current regional conflict. The minister added that Ankara’s stance is to keep the channels of dialogue open for peace, ensuring the conflict does not distract the world from the crisis in Gaza.
He further pointed out that Israel has initiated policies of occupation and destruction in Lebanon, mirroring its actions in Gaza. Fidan called on the international community to act decisively to prevent Israel’s expansionism and to take necessary responsibility for these opportunistic policies. Turkey is currently consulting with Qatar on efforts to halt the war.
