Netanyahu Claims Israeli Forces Crossed Litani River in Southern Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asserted that Israeli military forces have crossed the Litani River in southern Lebanon, amidst intensified strikes against the country. This statement follows prior declarations from Israeli officials regarding operations in southern Lebanon.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Israeli soldiers have crossed the Litani River in southern Lebanon. This assertion was reported by Channel 14 of the Israeli regime, citing Netanyahu. The reports originated from Al Jazeera, based on data published by Mehr News Agency.

Earlier, the Minister of War of the Israeli regime had stated that Tel Aviv aims to control southern Lebanon, destroy villages, and penetrate up to the Litani River borders.

Netanyahu further elaborated, “We bombed Beirut today and attacked Tyre yesterday. We are conducting very powerful strikes against Lebanon and are seeking a solution to address Hezbollah’s threats.”

Previous reports indicated that at least 35 people were killed or injured in Israeli regime attacks on Tyre. Additionally, Israeli fighter jets targeted a residential building in Beirut today.
